Through the Eyes of a Friend
On December 2nd, the 8th grade Language Arts students saw Through the Eyes of a Friend; a play about the life of Anne Frank. The Production Company "Living Voices" performed a powerful program in the Wilkins Theater at Kean University. The story augmented the student's understanding of the events that led up the Holocaust and also the events that happened to the Frank family after they were discovered by the Nazis. Through the Eyes of a Friend taught us that the memories of the Holocaust should not be forgotten and should live on through both victims and survivors. We are grateful to the New Providence Ed Foundation for generously funding admission to the show for middle school students.
